TIER 9 TANKS - PT-91 Twardy
Let's have a look at our third Tier 9 tank: The PT-91 Twardy!
The PT-91 Twardy is a Polish main battle tank (MBT). It is derived from the T-72M1 battle tank currently in service with the Polish Army.
The battle tank is manufactured by upgrading the T-72M1 with a dual-axis stabilised fire-control system, explosive reactive armour, a more efficient and powerful engine, and an advanced automatic loader. The PT-91 entered into service in 1995.

The PT-91 Twardy in War Machines
Here’s the PT-91 Twardy, our Tier 9 tank with the smallest profile and highest raw attack power when fully upgraded. It comes bearing dark olive green colouring and starts with less engine power and fire rate than other T9s, but can overcome these faults as it gets upgraded. Additionally, the Twardy can unlock some very interesting techs, including its own APS system and attack techs that favour long engagement distances.
The Twardy is a very fun tank! A bit frailer when compared to the rest of Tier 9 but it packs a punch and has an interesting set of tech skills that can complement different team compositions or handle free-for-all quite well on its own. It never gets super fast but you probably won’t need to, as long as you find a nice spot to snipe targets, and when all fails, you can always equip Efficient along with your best power-ups, and just taste sweet revenge!
Below you can see the blueprints of the PT-91 Twardy for its conception inside the game.
PT-91 Twardy Stats & Skills.
We are happy to share these numbers with you but just keep in mind that these numbers are bound to change at any time for balancing purposes.
|INITIAL STATS||FINAL STATS|

We are also happy to share with you the tech skills that will be available on the PT-91 Twardy:
- Hasty: fast move after spawning.
- Efficient: Better Power-Ups
- Concealment: Spawns invisible
- APS: % Chance to negate damage
- Sniper: Better zoom, +dmg, -RPM
- Hunter: More damage from the sides and from the back
Once the multiple tech skills will be available, you will have different possibilities of builds! Here are some fun ideas of possible builds for you to prepare for this incoming feature!
|Build Variant||Skills Required||Gameplay Strategy|
|Ninja Variant||Hasty, Efficient, Concealment||We like calling this build the “Ninja” because of how it relates to stealth, speed and special tools. Concealment and hasty help you obtain and maintain a positional advantage, while Efficient makes the most out of your consumables, making this a great support build that can be set up quite early with mid-tree tech skills.|
|Sniper Variant||APS, Sniper, Hunter||Sniper provides good damage buff and the improved zoom can be great for large maps, while Hunter helps make sure any shot will hurt even if you can’t shoot sides or backs. APS is a great addition to protect you while you’re focusing on a distant target but could be switched for any other skill of your preference.
We hope that you found this information useful and we would love to know what you think about the PT-91 Twardy. Tell us if you like the idea of having different builds and what kind of set-up you already have in mind! Join the discussion.
