New Currency

As you may have noticed, there are a few new currencies in the game. These are exclusive event currencies, obtainable only by top-performing players and used to purchase/upgrade the Nevermore rifle.

The Nevermore rifle can be unlocked using Nevermore Shards. These shards are only available through the solo event leaderboard for now, although we also plan to make them available through squad events later down the line. Players will have plenty of opportunities to earn shards regularly over the coming weeks.

As for upgrading the Nevermore rifle once it's obtained, you will require another new currency: Alpha Coins.

Alpha Coins will be available as a reward for the last milestone of solo events, as well as through leaderboards for both solo and squad events. In time these two currencies will become more abundant and available through other areas of the game.

Rewards

We’d also like to note that we’ve seen some confusion about why some players have different rewards in their milestones and leaderboards. As the Nevermore is a top-end rifle, only those snipers who have already unlocked at least City 19 by the time of the event start will see the Nevermore Shards and Alpha Coins available in their solo event milestones and leaderboards.

If you haven't reached this city yet... there is no need to worry! There are still other great prizes available to you. We wish to see you in the upper brackets soon and earning a chance to unlock the Nevermore rifle! Regardless, all players will also be able to help their Squads earn additional Alpha Coins from the squad milestones and leaderboards.

We are preparing to run regular Zombie Nightmare and Head Hunter events on both weekends and weekdays. As we move forward, we will have more and more events with Nevermore shards and Alpha Coins. So continue to upgrade the boosted “Cursed Weapons” as you will still need them to complete the upcoming events.

Which leads us to the final question we’d like to address regarding the bonus weapons, or as we like to call them, "Cursed Weapons."

We are aware that many players weren't able to get them in previous events, therefore we'll be adding these weapons to rewards in upcoming events. For now you can purchase them in the in-game store to get an edge on the competition. Later, we will expand the weapons that will receive bonuses during the events. We also heard your feedback and will add events earlier to the Event Hub, and we'll be communicating which weapons will be boosted so you have more time to prepare!

Yes! We are banning identified cheaters and removing those from the leaderboards before the event ending
